An update as we move into spring – last week it was sunny for a few days in a row with outside highs in the 40s/maybe low 50s, inside the greenhouse has been in the 70s and up to 80 F. I had all the house doors and windows open for a few hours.

At 80F I opened the ridge vents to cool the greenhouse back into the 70s.

As I’ve been doing since moving into the house in September 2022, I still turn off the heat in the house at night (except the heated floor in the bathroom and shower which are on timers). The house cools to the mid to lower 60s overnight. Last week I did not have to turn the heat on during the day; it was comfortable working in the house.

The house plants are perking up with more daylight. Interior humidity is still low.
