The area where I live has been hit by 2 “atmospheric river” weather patterns that have dumped about a month’s worth of rain in a couple days but that hasn’t stopped me from trying to make any progress I can while waiting for the excavation contractor to become available.

I recently spent a full day cutting through brush trying to find the 4 corners of the septic system’s drain field. Who won, me or the drain field? Spoiler alert; the title answers that question.
